Why ERP?



ERP is the mandatory requirements of the laws that regulate Airlines Industry and IATA as follows: 


a)  Aviation Disaster Family Assistance Act – US 1996

b)  Foreign Air Carrier Family Assistance Act 1997.

c)  International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) - Cir Doc 9973

d)  ICAO – Assistance to Victims and NOK.

e)  Montreal Regulation (EU) No 996/2010.

f)   National Transport Safety Board (NTSB)

g)  Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Malaysia respective       
     Country.

h)  Department of Transport Australia Regulation (DOTAR) - 
      Australian Family Assistance Code.

i)   IATA International Air Transport Association (IATA).   
     ISAGO – Section 4.

j)   CAA Investigation of Accident Act 1989

k)  Annex 13 (Relating to Accident Investigation)

There are two critical questions: 

  •  Who man the Immediate Response Centres (IRC) and have they been trained  on their roles and responsibilities at these centres?




  • Has your Airlines formed a Crash-site Team and have they been trained on their roles and responsibilities at the Crash-Site.





The following  is a sample of ‘LIVE’ Special Assistance Team’s (Volunteer) requirement template. The number of volunteer that your Airlines need willl greatly depend on the maximum number of aircraft capavity of your biggst aircraft fleet. 


Example: If the max capacity of your biggest aircraft is 150pax, than the number of Volunteer required to be trained is as follows:
